Notes

  • The third episode of TNG to be directed by Jonathan Frakes.
  • It is first stated here that 39 starships were destroyed at The Battle of Wolf 359.
  • The woman who is leading the “witch-hunt” in this episode is the same character that recommended Picard to be captain of the Enterprise originally.  That is canon established in the series finale, “…All Good Things“.
  • The events of numerous episodes before this are referenced in this episode.  They are.. “Conspiracy“, “Sins of the Father“, “The Best of Both Worlds” Part I & Part II, “Family“, & “Data’s Day“.
  • The second appearance of the interrogation room, last seen in “The Defector“.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek TNG Ep 95 - The Drumhead - 29 Apr 1991 2/2 path there is an ugly one, although VERY well acted. Events of several past episodes are brought up and discussed as evidence, including Picard's capture by the Borg. Dialogue at end of ep mirrors today's real life politics.
