Notes
- There was a prequel to this story released online which shows a scene with the Doctor talking to a little girl about how he’s looking for Clara. Turns out the little girl is Clara Oswald, but he doesn’t know that.
- The titular “Bells” is a reference to the symbol on the Tardis door that is not the “Pull to call” sign.
- Until this point of Series 7, the Doctor Who logo in the titles was customized to something in that particular story. However from this point forward, the episodes all use the same one, shown starting here (except for the 50th Anniversary special). The movie posters for each episode do continue through the end of the series, however.
- For the second story this series, a physical book inside the program can be purchased in the real world. Still can to this day on Amazon.com. It’s the “Summer Falls” book we see early in the episode.

I loved the basic concept here that the threat was something hidden in WiFi. Some of the best stories turn "every day things" into something bad. Clara 3's first story. In this pic.twitter.com/lB7lZrjmt7

one she doesn't die. Great Intelligence is in the background here. Bike up the building was a bit naff. Liked the Tardis landing in a moving plane. Overall, an enjoyable story. pic.twitter.com/ax8etfNO4x
