Knock Knock

This Story: Series 10, Story 4. Production code 10.4
Overall: Story 268, Episode 837
Airdate: 6 May 2017
Written by Mike Bartlett
Directed by Bill Anderson

Notes

  • The episode made special use of binaural audio, intended for headphones which would create an atmospheric soundscape when listening.  I’m unclear if that audio made it onto the final Blu-Ray version of the episode, however.

Straight up horror episode, with kids to be knocked off, a scary house, and an old dude caretaker. This epThis ep went out with binaural sound which helped with the sound atmosphere. pic.twitter.com/da9LadHbCL

In the end, scary landlord was guarding his mother, who was a tree?? Surprisingly emotional ending. If you're into horror stories, this is good, but perhaps not if you don't like bugs. pic.twitter.com/DWPi7Pfe0h
