Nikola Tesla’s Night Of Terror

This Story: Series 12 Story 3. Production code 12.4
Overall: Story 290, Episodes 861
Airdate: 19 Jan 2020
Written by Nina Metivier
Directed by Nida Manzoor

Notes

  • Tesla is played by Goran Višnjić, who I knew very well as Luka Kovač from the US TV series “ER”.  Was very pleased to see him pop up here in Doctor Who.
  • The Queen Skithra is played by Anjli Mohindra, who is more well known as Rani Chandra in “The Sarah Jane Adventures”.

Loved the Tesla actor (Goran Višnjić) who I know from elsewhere. Thought he was a good character here. The alien angle of this puzzled me, it felt oddly out of place. pic.twitter.com/Z3VqlbzD0j

Having said that, the woman who played the big bug we know from elsewhere - she was Rani from Sarah Jane Adventures. Great atmosphere and a good historical story. pic.twitter.com/tjaWffM3RG
