- This is the first episode with Chloe Annett as a series regular, replacing Chris Barrie.
- There is no opening title sequence on this episode, it just “starts”.
- This follows up on the events of last season’s “Emohawk” episode by referencing Lister’s gelf bride.
- The continuity established here that Lister is his own father is followed up later on in the series 10 episode “Fathers & Suns“.
