Notes
- Capt Tracy is played by Morgan Woodward, who was also Dr Simon Van Gelder in “Dagger of the Mind“. He was also Punk Anderson on the TV series “Dallas” as a recurring role for about a decade there in the 70’s & 80’s.
- This was a rejected script for the second pilot of the series – which was eventually “Where No Man Has Gone Before“.
- During the closing credits of this episode on original broadcast, it was announced that Star Trek was renewed for a third season, bringing an end to the famous letter writing campaign by the Trimbles.
