Notes

• The USS Brattain was redress of the USS Reliant from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.  Additionally, the visual effect of the rift explosion was reused footage of the explosion of the Genesis device from the same movie.
• The model for the Brattain was misspelled as Brittain on the ship model. Brattain is how it was to be spelled in the script.
• The character of Lin was played by Brian Tochi.  He was in TOS’s “And the Children Shall Lead” as Ray Tsing Tao.  There are pictures below.
• The attempt to defeat the Borg cube in “The Best of Both Worlds Part II” is referenced here.
