Notes
- There is an “Ensign Janeway” mentioned (but not seen) in this episode. This has no connection to the Capt Janeway of Star Trek: Voyager.
- This episode is based around the book “The Picture of Dorian Gray“. As such, the ship at the beginning of the episode is named “Dorian”.
- This episode was written in a rush, as the next episode was supposed to be filmed here, but had to be pushed back due to availability of Jimmy Doohan.
- The first episode to have Jonathan West as director of photography, as the original director (Marvin Rush) moved over to Deep Space Nine, now that it was in full production.
- The ship’s red alert sound changed at this point (and all episodes going forward).
- An outfit worn by Troi in this episode was previously worn by the companion of a Ferengi in the episode “Unification II“.

It's another Troi gets overwhelmed emotionally one. This time she's a "dumping ground" for a bunch of negative emotions from an ambassador making her go all Fatal Attraction on a few

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek TNG Ep 129 - Man of the People - 5 Oct 1992 2/2 people being forced old. Other than seeing Marina Sirtis dressed in less than she normally is, there's not a ton to like in this one for me. Although she probably liked doing something different with Troi. For me - meh.
