Notes (Part I)
- Running fired torpedo count: 73. This contradicts the hard limit set in “The Cloud” of 38.
- Umali is played by Iona Morris. She played an unnamed girl in the original series episode “Miri“. She is also the real life brother of Phil Morris who was also in Miri and in the Voyager episode “One Small Step“.
- One of the ship bridge sets was apparently a redress of the Voyager crew quarters set.
- The second time the Doctor becomes the “Emergency Command Hologram” after having done that before in “Tinker Tenor Doctor Spy“.
- Neelix’s ship makes its third appearance in the series – the others are “Caretaker” & “The Chute“.
- The last time we see Tuvok perform a mind meld.
- The Quarren ambassador was played by John Aniston. He is the real life father of actress Jennifer Anniston (most known for Friends).
- The Quarren supervisor was placed by Tom Virtue. He was also Walter Baxter in the episodes “Eye of the Needle” & “Twisted“.
- This episode was nominated for two Emmy Awards. One for “Outstanding Music Composition For A Series” and the other for “Outstanding Special Visual Effects for a Series”. It lost both to the Voyager finale, “Endgame“.
Notes (Part II)
- Running fired torpedo count: 74 (one this episode). This contradicts the hard limit set in “The Cloud” of 38.
- The last time a Star Trek episode was directed by a cast member of the show they were also starring in at the time (Roxann Dawson).
- Seven’s flashback is a re-use of footage from “Unimatrix Zero“.
- The batleth on the wall in B’Elanna’s quarters is not the one that was given to them just three episodes ago by the Klingons they ran into.
- Doctor Kadan was played by Don Most. Most is well known for playing Ralph Malph in the Tv series “Happy Days” (1974 – 1984).

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Episode 162 - Workforce - 21 Feb 2001 2/2 you know it won't end this way. I enjoyed the Voyager part of this story than the captured crew part, though I did like seeing them act differently and Janeway gets a few snogs, so there's that. Even cliffhanger was meh.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Episode 163 - Workforce Pt II - 28 Feb 2001 1/2 The conclusion has more to do with the Voyager crew regaining their memories and restoring who they were. I liked this a bit more than the first ep, although neither was stellar. This really didn't need to be a two

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Voyager Episode 163 - Workforce Pt II - 28 Feb 2001 2/2 parter, IMO. I did like the appearance of Donny Most from Happy Days. I liked the way local law enforcement came around to helping our crew. Of course everyone escapes. It felt like the weakest two parter.
