Notes
- Running Decon Gel Scene Appearances: T’Pol (2), Trip (2), Hoshi (1), Malcolm (1). No scene this episode.
- The third of ten episodes of Enterprise directed by Voyager’s Roxann Dawson.
- Dawson also voiced the repair station’s main computer, but was not credited for that.
- This episode directly follows on the events of the prior, but is not intended to be a two parter.
- This episode was nominated for an Emmy Award for “Outstanding Special Visual Effects For A Series”.
- The station’s medical regenerator was a rework of the Exocomp prop from TNG’s “The Quality of Life“.
- Similarly, the diagnostic room main prop was a reuse of the AI system from Voyager’s “Think Tank“. It had already been used in other Voyager episodes, too – “Flesh and Blood” and “The Voyager Conspiracy“.
- A reference to damage Enterprise had in the show’s pilot is made here.
- Ensign Mayweather has a model of the Nomad probe (in its original form) from TOS’s “The Changeling” in his quarters.
- The episode ends implying there could be a followup as the station had begun repairing itself as the final shot.

I do really love that it shows repercussion given their situation, and the ship wasn't magically repaired. They run across an automated repair

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek Enterprise Episode 30 - Dead Stop - 9 Oct 2002 2/2station which can fix everything. It seems too good to be true, and it turns out there's a horror vibe to the place. But I do love the visuals for this ep. It has a really nice aesthetic in that regard. Loved this one.
