- The second of two episodes (the other being “The Offspring“) to counterbalance the overspend budget on “Yesterday’s Enterprise“.
- The first of two appearances of Picard at the officer’s poker game (the other being the finale “All Good Things“.) Three if you count the finale of Star Trek: Picard as well.
- The outfit worn by the character Esoqq in this episode later became the outfit for Morn in Deep Space Nine.
- The second time there was talk about a mutiny against Picard for the same reason (an imposter). The other was “Lonely Among Us“.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek TNG Ep 66 - Allegiance - 26 Mar 1990 2/2 some amusing acting by Patrick Stewart when fake Picard did a few out of character things. Had some Picard character dev, tho - which I think was the main point. I kept waiting for the payoff, as this one didn't interest me.
