In Theory

This Story: Season 4 Episode 25 (production code 199)
TNG Overall: Episode 99
Trek Overall: Story 198, Episode 201
Airdate: 3 Jun 1991
Written by Joe Menosky & Ronald D. Moore
Directed by Patrick Stewart

Notes

  • The first episode directed by Patrick Stewart.
  • Michele Scarabelli was the main guest star in this episode. She was well known for being in the main cast of Alien Nation.  She was also Bobby Ewing’s first secretary in “Dallas” (another show I adore).
  • The last episode with Data’s cat Spot as played by a a Somali cat.  Future appearances are by an orange short hair tabby cat.
  • The only episode where we see inside a torpedo bay.
  • The nebula looks awfully similar to the nebula in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

#StarTrekMarathon #StarTrek TNG Ep 99 - In Theory - 3 Jun 1991 Didn't care for this one. It's a story of Data trying to experiment with feelings by "having a girlfriend". I never ONCE figured out what the girl out of this "relationship". There's a b plot, but "meh". 1st directed by Patrick Stewart.
